2012 RESNET Building Performance Conference Post-Conference Residential Energy Efficiency Stakeholder Meeting

On February 29 and March 1-2, 2012 the 2012 Residential Energy Efficiency Stakeholder Meeting will take place in conjunction with the 2012 RESNET Building Performance Conference.

Last year, hundreds of diverse building industry professionals came together to share their perspective on the most current innovation projects in the residential buildings sector. This year’s meeting will provide an opportunity for researchers and industry stakeholders to showcase and discuss the latest in cutting-edge, energy-efficient residential building technologies and practices.

Plan to attend the Building America program’s second annual Residential Energy Efficiency Stakeholder Meeting, scheduled for February 29 through March 2, 2012, in Austin, Texas. Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible.

A draft agenda will be available early in 2012, and will be structured as follows:

February 29, 2012: Building America Standing Technical Committee (STC) Meetings

Join us as our STC chairs lead discussions to understand key technical actions required for the industry to reach higher levels of energy efficiency and meet Building America performance goals. These interactive meetings are open to the public, and focus to define research challenges, gaps in understanding, and new research opportunities. Committees include experts from the Building America research teams, national laboratories, and outside organizations that possess specialized knowledge or heightened interest in the following topics – Building Enclosures, Space Conditioning, Home Energy Management, Hot Water, Analysis Methods and Tools, Testing Methods and Protocols, and Implementation.

March 1, 2012: Day One, Open Meeting

Join us for a full day of presentations from Building America researchers and industry stakeholders, focused on key technical and market topics critical to achieving peak energy performance in homes.

March 2, 2012: Day Two, Open Meeting

Join us for a half day of presentations from Building America researchers and industry stakeholders, focused on key technical and market topics critical to achieving peak energy performance in homes.
