Berkeley Lab Survey on Kitchen Ventilation

January 11th, 2018 - Posted by Brett Singer under RESNET News

Cooking produces both pleasant and unpleasant odors that can spread throughout your house. Cooking also emits chemicals that can affect health when susceptible people are exposed at high levels.

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is studying how people use kitchen ventilation equipment to manage odors and contaminants from cooking.

As part of this research, Berkeley Lab is conducting a survey of people living in energy efficient homes. We invite you to participate by completing the survey.

Additional information and the survey can be found at Kitchen-ventilation.lbl.gov
