Clayton Traylor of the Leading Builders of America Appointed to the RESNET Board of Directors

Clayton Traylor of the Leading Builders of America has been appointed to the RESNET Board of Directors.

Clayton Traylor joined the Leading Builders of America staff following five years with Centex Homes where he served as Director of Government & Industry Relations and Sustainability Officer.  In this capacity, Clayton was responsible for the company’s political, legislative and regulatory activity at the federal, state and local level.  Clayton also spearheaded Centex’s energy efficiency initiatives.

Before joining Centex, Clayton was a Senior Staff Vice President at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) responsible for construction codes, land use and state and local government relations.

Leading Builders of America was formed in 2009.  Their members include many of the largest homebuilding companies in North America.  The members include publicly traded companies whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange as well as privately held companies.  The purpose of the organization is to preserve home affordability for American families.
