Job Description:
To support our growth, we are seeking an Account Manager for our Energy Efficiency group to provide critical program support services for our residential energy efficiency programs.

Responsibilities:
-Building and maintaining relationships with key market actors in the new home construction industry including builders, home energy raters, utilities, home building associations, subcontractors, etc.
-Conducting partner support and recruitment activities to achieve the program goals
-Maintaining ongoing communications and outreach with program participants and allies
-Providing or referring participants to technical and marketing assistance
-Assisting in the development and execution of training
-Assisting with developing and implementing program strategies
-Preparing persuasive presentations to technical and non-technical audiences
-Managing operations and databases
-Researching and analyzing of energy efficiency and industry issues
-Contributing to the evolution of program strategies and specifications
-Corresponding with industry and government representatives

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Energy Policy, Architectural/Mechanical Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Sustainability or related area
-Passion for the residential sector, in particular energy efficiency
-Strong outreach and communications skills, analytical skills, and self-motivation
-Capability to build and maintain relationships with key market actors in the residential sector including utilities, builders, and home energy raters
-High level of competency with computer programs such as Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn how to effectively use and maintain custom databases

Preferred Skills/Experience:
-Knowledge of integrated or whole housing building science priciples
-Knowledge of energy and U.S. policies for residential energy
-Knowledge of sustainable building practices and technologies
-Knowledge of green building and major programs
-Business-to-business, sales, or recruitment experience
-LEED, RESNET, and/or BPI certification

Professional Skills:
-Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are required. Comfort with public speaking is necessary
-Well organized, strong time management skills, and the ability to multitask
-Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
