Nancy St. Hilaire, owner of the HERS® Rating Company, Home Energy Group of Charleston, South Carolina, has been elected by the RESNET Board of Directors to serve as the RESNET Board Vice President. Ms. St. Hilaire has served on the RESNET Board since 2013 and has served on numerous board subcommittees and task forces. Nancy also serves on the RESNET Standard Development Committee 300 – Quality Assurance. Nancy has been instrumental in working with home builders in increasing the demand for HERS® Ratings in the Palmetto State. In 2015, 6,478 homes were HERS® rated in the state of South Carolina. The average HERS® Index score of the homes rated in the state that year was 69 (31% more efficient than a home built as recently as 2006).
