RESNET is pleased to announce the recipients of the first-ever Emerging Leader Fellowship for the 2019 RESNET Building Performance Conference, February 25-27, 2019 in New Orleans. The 2019 Fellows are Elizabeth Sanfelippo of Eco Three, LLC in Vestavia, AL; Xavier Walter of Energy Efficient West Virginia of Charleston, WV; and Jonathan Gensler of Revive Energy LLC of Nashville, TN. The Emerging Leader Fellowship announced in October 2018, offered three of today’s up-and-coming HERS® industry professionals the chance to attend the 2019 RESNET Building Performance Conference, including complimentary Conference registration and four nights lodging. Applicants were to be new to the rating industry (fewer than 5 years); passionate about HERS, home energy performance, codes, and energy policy; and believe they can make a difference in the industry and its future. The 2019 Fellows are also now members of the RESNET Emerging Leadership Council. In 2016, the RESNET Board of Directors established the Emerging Leadership Council to recruit and engage the next generation of leaders for the organization and the rating industry. There is no better place for engagement than the RESNET Building Performance Conference, the premier national forum on home energy ratings, high energy performance homes building, energy codes, and energy policy.
