RESNET Enters Into Strategic Alliance with the National Insulation Contractors Exchange (NICE) – Creates New Business Opportunities for Raters and Independent Insulation Contractors

RESNET and the National Insulation Contractors Exchange (NICE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together in promoting home energy performance in the U.S.

The major components of the MOU include:

  • A NICE representative serves on the RESNET Technical Committee’s Insulation Industry Advisory Council.
  • NICE communicating to its members the benefits of becoming RESNET Energy Smart Contractors.
  • RESNET communicating to its rater members the benefits of working with NICE members.
  • Collaboration with other RESNET strategic allies in influencing federal policies promoting improved energy performance of buildings.

The National Insulation Contractors Exchange is the insulation industry’s only trade association consisting of independently-owned insulation contractors.
