RESNET Seeking Volunteers to Serve on Infrared Committee

September 17th, 2010 - Posted by RESNET under Energy Auditor Information, Energy Efficiency, Job Opportunities, RESNET News, RESNET Notes, RESNET Notes - September 2010

The RESNET Board of Directors has recently adopted the RESNET Interim Guidelines for Thermographic Inspections of Buildings.  The guidelines call for the formation of a RESNET Infrared Committee.  The guidelines are posted on the RESNET web site at http://www.resnet.us/standards/RESNET_IR_interim_guidelines.pdf

This is a call for volunteers who would be interested in serving on the committee.

The RESNET Infrared Committee, with oversight by the RESNET Technical and Training and Education Committees, will have the responsibility to maintain the process for the approval of trainers, the curriculum for the course, and the writing of the test questions.

To be eligible to serve on the RESNET Infrared Committee, one must have training as a Level II, Level III or the equivalent experience and infrared training.

If you are interested in being considered as a member of the committee, please e-mail me a paragraph of why you would like to be considered as a member and documentation of your infrared training and/or experience.  Please submit this information to Steve Baden at sbaden@resnet.us by Friday, October 1, 2010.
