RESNET to Form New Standard Task Force on the Rating Quality Assurance of Modular and Manufactured Homes

Nov 12, 2014

Seeking Volunteers to Serve on New Task Force

HERS® Ratings of modular and manufactured homes present a separate set of challenges for quality assurance oversight.  To address this challenge, the RESNET Standards Development Committee 900 – Quality Assurance (SDC 900) is forming a Modular and Manufactured Housing Rating Quality Assurance Standard task force.

The task force will develop a standard amendment that will be considered by the SDC 900 to be submitted to the RESNET standard amendment public review and comment process.  The task force will base its work on preliminary work conducted by an ad hoc group that met at the 2014 RESNET Building Performance Conference.

RESNET is seeking interested individuals that would be interested in serving on the task force.  To be considered for appointment to the working group, individuals need to include qualifying experience in their letter of interest.  Please send your letters of interest to Steve Baden at sbaden@resnet.us

Applications must be received by RESNET by Monday, December 8, 2014.
