RESNET Accredited Green Rater Training Providers

RESNET has created a new rater designation, the RESNET Green Rater. The designation will bring raters:

• A certificate of RESNET Green Rater designation
• Posting of the designation's icon on the rater's listing on the RESNET rater directory
• NAHB recognizes the designation as meeting the prerequisites for certification as a verifier for the NAHB Green Building program
• U.S. Green Building Council recognizes the RESNET Green Rater designation as meeting some of the prerequisites for LEED for Homes green verifier

RESNET will accredit rating providers to provide the ongoing training for raters that will lead to the designation.

RESNET has developed the curriculum, lesson plan, training presentation and speaker notes, and activities for the RESNET Green Rater training. Accredited RESNET Green Rater Training Providers will receive these materials and authorization to duplicate the materials as part of the accreditation.
