Contractors and Builders Directory

All RESNET qualified Home Energy Contractors have successfully completed RESNET approved energy efficiency training and have passed a RESNET administered exam. They have valid licensing and insurance, and conduct annual continuing education courses in their trades in order to remain up-to-date on the latest developments.

RESNET designated EnergySmart Builders have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with RESNET in which they agree to have their homes rated for energy efficiency. They also agree to market them via their HERS Index Scores, thereby giving potential homebuyers a good indication of how energy efficient these homes are and how much they can expect to save in energy costs.
