What will the 2022 RESNET Building Performance Conference look like? The annual RESNET Building Performance Conference is the “can’t afford to miss” event for the rating, building performance and home building industry. RESNET is dedicated to providing a learning and networking experience where everyone can feel safe and comfortable. The #RESNET2022 Conference will be a two-part event: an in-person gathering that will be re-imagined, exclusive, and exciting at the Hilton in Austin, TX February 21-23, 2022, and… An online event built upon the success of the 2021 Virtual Conference for two days, March 10-11, 2022. Attendees can register for the in-person event, OR for the online event. To attend in-person, attendees will adhere to health and safety protocols as required by our third-party consultant Emergency Concierge International (ECI). Why is RESNET requiring COVID-19 health and safety protocols for the in-person conference? Our commitment is to always make sure attendees health and safety are #1 priority. RESNET surveyed the network and with help from third party safety agents, we were able to outline what our requirements would be based on the majority results from the survey of our network. To attend in-person, the following practices listed below are required by our third-party consultant, Emergency Concierge International (ECI) All attendees will need to be vaccinated and submit proof of vaccination. RESNET has partnered with a third-party digital health company to verify vaccinations prior to attending the event. Once verified, your information will not be stored and RESNET will only receive confirmation that the attendee was verified. Attendees may wear masks to your comfort level. Attendees are encouraged to socially distance to your comfort level. Meeting spaces will be set 6 feet apart during the general sessions and breakout sessions. RESNET will be working with the hotel to ensure that food and beverages are served safely by the hotel staff to avoid contamination of buffet food. Is registration limited? At this time, the in-person #RESNET2022 event will have limited seating for only 400 attendees. Additionally, RESNET will continue to monitor all federal, state, and local guidelines, as well as recommendations provided by the CDC and WHO as they relate to in-person gatherings and will communicate any changes to these policies. Will RESNET keep my vaccine info? What does it mean to "COVID-clear"? No, RESNET has contracted a third-party provider to verify vaccines from attendees. We will not even see your ID or vaccine card. RESNET will only know that you have been cleared for the in-person event. All attendees will need to be vaccinated and submit proof of vaccination. RESNET has partnered with a third-party digital health company to verify vaccinations prior to attending the event. Your payment will not be processed and registration will be incomplete until you verify your vaccine status through RESNET’s third-party provider VOW through this process. Will my seat be refundable if I cannot attend? Due to limited seating and in-person registration requirements, registration is non-refundable after payment. Virtual registration can be cancelled by February 1, 2022 and is subject to a processing fee of $50.00. There will be no refunds for the virtual event offered after February 1, 2022. There are no exceptions. I do not have or do not plan to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Can I still participate in the conference? Yes, virtually! RESNET strives to be inclusive of everyone who wants anyone to participate in the RESNET 2022 Building Performance Conference. The conference survey that was distributed showed that a large majority in the industry expressed their highest safety concern was being around those that are unvaccinated at an in-person event. We wish COVID-19 wasn’t the reality we are having to navigate, but our commitment is to always make sure attendees health and safety are our #1 priority. If you are unvaccinated or if you have not resumed travel, we are providing a virtual option if you cannot join us in Texas. We hope that in the future we can be face-to-face together again without the need of masks, social distancing, and other virus-fighting protocol. How will the virtual conference (March 10-11, 2022) work? The RESNET 2022 Virtual Conference will not be your typical, virtual event! It will be offering an exciting mix of live-stream events and a wide array of pre-recorded technical sessions addressing subjects of critical importance. There will be 2 days of a live-stream March 10-11, 2022 that will last about 3 hours, 9-12 PT, and an on-demand library of breakout sessions that are accessible all through 2022. You will also have access to the virtual conference platform from March 10-11 until December 31, 2022. This is a unique opportunity to learn while having fun that you don’t want to miss, from the comfort of your own home. What does virtual exhibiting look like? Each virtual conference attendee will have access to our directory where you’ll be able to acquire names and choose to then communicate/chat and exchange contact details with others. However, (besides names) these contact details won’t be provided to you by RESNET unless of course, you are a sponsor.
