Steve Baden Executive Director Email: Steve Baden has worked in the residential energy efficiency field for over twenty five years, including eighteen years with home energy ratings and energy mortgages on both the state and national levels, and ten years administering a state energy office. Mr. Baden initiated the "Warm Homes for Alaskans Initiative" which received the ""1993 National Award for the Most Outstanding State Housing Program"" from the National Council of State Housing Agencies. Steve was also awarded "Lifetime Achievement Awards" from the U.S. Department of Energy and RESNET.

Kathy Spigarelli Deputy Director Email: Kathy Spigarelli has been the RESNET education coordinator since 1998. As the education coordinator, Ms. Spigarelli assists in designing curriculum, coordinating workshops and delivering training of lenders and other housing and residential energy efficiency professionals on the market benefits of residential energy efficiency financing. Kathy has 20 years of experience in adult education including programs for the Fayetteville Arkansas School District, Tyson Foods, Inc., Levi Strauss, Campbell Soup, and Vlasic Pickles.

Laurel Elam Conference Coordinator
Quality Assurance Manager Email: Laurel Elam has been a project manager with the Appalachian State University Energy Center. She graduated from Appalachian State University, with a degree in Appropriate Technology and a minor in Sustainable Development. The main focus of her work at the Energy Center has been specific to promotion of residential energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR Homes. She is the co-author and designer for the Affordable Passive Solar Planbook for North Carolina and the coordinator of the annual NC ENERGY STAR Conference.

Faye Berriman Accountant Email: Faye Berriman is a professional accountant, holding degrees from California State University, Northridge in Accountancy and in Business Management. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Keenly interested in the nonprofit community both professionally and as a volunteer, with over 35 years experience, she has served on many nonprofit boards and currently serves as a Board Member of Family Hope Center, Inc. and Southern California Conferences for Undergraduate Research. As an accountant Faye has been responsible for planning, budgeting, executing, supervising, and concluding all areas of audits for nonprofit organizations as well as compilation, consulting, and tax services. Faye also has performed internal audits, internal control, operating efficiency, and expense reduction reviews, and has researched and implemented programs for resource development. Faye has also lectured professionally on nonprofit financial accounting and reporting requirements.

Randy L. Martin Webmaster Email: Randy Martin has operated his own web development business as R. L. Martin and Associates since August of 1996 specializing in web sites for energy and environmental organizations and companies. He currently maintains over 80 web sites including RESNET's. Prior to going into business for himself he served as Director of Energy Efficiency Services for the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities. Prior to working for IAMU, he worked for 3 years on residential and transportation efficiency programs for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in the Denver Regional Support Office. Before moving to Denver in 1992 he worked for the state energy office in Iowa for nine years where he ran the Iowa Energy Hotline.
