Approved Contractor Education and Qualification (CEQ) Providers have the responsibility of:

• Overseeing contractor/builder training
• Arranging examination site
• Designating contractor (or builder) as a "RESNET Qualified EnergySmart Contractor" (or Builder) in the RESNET Directory
• Quality Assurance - Responding to homeowner complaints
