Proposed Addendum 37 amends the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards (MINHERS), Chapter 9 to establish clear criteria for disciplinary actions essential the improvement of Quality Assurance for the RESNET HERS. The addendum implements the RESNET Board of Directors policy stated as follows: “If the Quality Assurance Designees are found to not properly comply with RESNET’s procedures they are subject to discipline by RESNET up to and including de‐certification as a Quality Assurance Designee. RESNET staff shall collaborate with SDC 900 on development of procedures and standards for the implementation of this policy.” RESNET Standard Development Committee 900 has approved the changes to the first draft, PDS-01, of MINHERS® Addendum 37 based on public comments. Those changes are shown in draft PDS-02 in strikeout/underline text in red print. Changes to Chapter 9 proposed in draft PDS-01 that are not changed due to public comment are shown in strikeout/underline text in black print. Comment on draft PDS-02 will be open beginning January 27, 2021 and end February 26, 2021. After the comment period SDC 900 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. Any substantive change to draft PDS-02 will be provided to the public for comment.
