BSR/RESNET 301-2014, ADDENDUM A-201X PD-03. CHANGES RESULTING FROM PUBLIC COMMENT TO PRELIMINARY DRAFT BSR/RESNET 301-2014, ADDENDUM A-201X PD-02, DOMESTIC HOT WATER

Public comment on Preliminary Draft 02 of this addendum to ANSI/RESNET 301-2014 resulted in substantive changes to the addendum. Those changes include:

  • Changes to clothes washer hot water use equation to correct a typographical transposition
  • Changes to regression equation coefficients to update values
  • Changes to branch length and loop length definitions for hot water recirculation systems
  • Changes to table values for pumping power and energy waste factors for hot water recirculation systems

Only the proposed changes (denoted in underline strikeout format) are open to comment. Public comments on the proposed changes to the amendment will be accepted until 30 days after the publication of the notice of changes in the ANSI Standards Actions.

Comments will be accepted only on the changes to the previously published proposed addendum, version PD-02.

The public comment period will be open until November 10, 2014.

Only comments made through the online system will be accepted.

After the comment period, the RESNET Standard Development Committee will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. The revised proposed amendments then will be submitted to the RESNET Standard Management Board for adoption.
