Protected: EEP Deficiency Tracker

Accredited Rating Providers should use this EEP Corrective Action Tracker to manage and report all instances of EEP field QA non-compliance for ENERGY STAR®, Indoor airPLUS (IAP), DOE Efficient New Homes (ENH), Std. 310 HVAC Grading, HERS® H2O, and EPA WaterSense. RESNET® worked with program representatives to develop this guidance after many builders dropped participation following the expiration of the 45L tax credit. We believe it provides necessary relief while still meeting our HCO responsibilities as stewards of these programs.

What is EEP field QA non-compliance? It’s any instance in which a required field QA review was not conducted on a home officially certified under the specific EEP. For example, a builder didn’t meet the requirements of their intended EEP, or no certified home was available for field QA.

Providers are expected to make every reasonable effort to complete all EEP field QA requirements, but we know non-compliance happens, often outside of your control. When it does, your responsibility is to complete the corrective actions, track and report the non-compliance using the EEP Corrective Action Tracker linked below, and implement new QA processes to reduce non-compliance going forward.

See the tracker’s Instructions tab for full details.
