Draft PDS-04, HERS Addendum 77, Integrated Heat Pump Water Heater (iHPWH) (Comment opens April 29, 2026)

Proposed Addendum 77 amends requirements of ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301 to improve the assessment of Heat Pump Water Heater (iHPWH) performance when they are located in small, confined spaces that may degrade their rated performance. The addendum adds definitions, establishes requirements for rating software, and adds requirements for inspection of iHPWHs to Appendix B.
