Proposed Substantive Changes to Proposed Chapter 2 Amendment on Instruction, Assessment and Certification

RESNET ACCEPTING COMMENTS ON SUBSTANTIVE CHANGES TO DRAFT PDS-02 OF PROPOSED CHAPTER 2 AMENDMENT ON INSTRUCTION, ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

Previously RESNET submitted draft PDS-01 of a proposed amendment to Chapter 2 of the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standard to public review and comment. SDC 200 considered comments submitted on that first draft and modified certain proposed changes. The modified changes were then submitted for public review and comment in the second draft PDS-02. SDC 200 has now made further modifications to the proposed amendment in response to comments by substantively changing some of the modified changes identified in draft PDS-02. Those substantive changes as identified in draft PDS-03 of the proposed amendment of Chapter 2 are now submitted for public review and comment.

The third draft, PDS-03, of the proposed amendment with the changes to draft PDS-02 identified for comment is posted at Proposed Substantive Changes to Proposed Chapter 2 Amendment on Instruction, Assessment and Certification

Public comments on the changes to draft PDS-02 of the amendment will be accepted for 30 days from posting on RESNET’s website.

To submit your comments click on RESNET Amendment Comment Online Form.

Comments are posted real time and you will be able to review comments that were submitted by clicking on Comments Submitted on Changes to Draft PDS-02 of Proposed Chapter 2 Amendment

Comments will be accepted only on the changes to the previously published draft PDS-02 of the proposed amendment and indicated by strike (delete)/underline (add) in draft PDS-03.

The public comment period will be open until November 4, 2016.

After the comment period, the RESNET Standard Development Committee will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. The revised proposed amendment then will be submitted to the RESNET Standard Management Board for final approval.
