The CEE Integrated Home Competition has announced the 2023 award-winning products at the CEE Industry Partners Meeting. Awards were presented to seven innovative connected home devices that exemplify the four tenets of the CEE Integrated Home vision: energy savings, demand flexibility, consumer amenity, and security. RESNET® is a 2023 Integrated Home Competition sponsor. In 2023, the Competition evaluated and awarded entries in residential connected lighting and lighting controls, heating and cooling equipment, ceiling fans, water heating, home appliances, home energy management, combination space, and water equipment, thermostats, and an open category for other connected home devices. The Judging Panel included individuals with expertise in usability, interoperability, energy efficiency program administration, experimental design, product installation, specific technology performance, sales, and design. Entries were demonstrated remotely or installed in person at the UL Solutions Test Laboratory in Allentown, PA. The judges carefully considered the detailed product submission information and the entries’ operation and user interfaces. Winners were chosen for their ability to embody the tenets of the CEE Integrated Home.
