RESNET standard development procedures require that Addenda to the RESNET MINHERS standards are to be implemented on January 1 and July 1 of each year.

There are two addenda that have the Mandatory Compliance Date of January 1, 2024. These are:

• Addendum 73f that provides criteria for allowing Remote Proctored Exams. Final Addendum 73f replaces the interim version of the addendum, Addendum 73i, that has been in effect since December 4. 2022.

• Addendum 74 that provides a definition for Space Constrained AC or Heat Pumps and removes an expired exception to standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301 that allowed use of defaults in lieu of test determined air tightness and airflow during the COVID pandemic. The definition applies to systems whose ratings are in SEER2 and HSPF2.

The continuous maintenance MINHERS posted online will have addenda that take effect January 1, 2024 incorporated within it.
