RESNET® is proud to recognize EnergyLogic for reaching the milestone of 100,000 HERS® rated homes and joining RESNET’s 100,000 HERS® Rated Homes Club. This achievement celebrates the EnergyLogic team’s work and its longstanding connection to RESNET—a connection that made the award presentation a special “full circle” moment. The award was presented at EnergyLogic’s annual RaterFest, which brings energy professionals together for learning, networking, and collaboration. The gathering provided a perfect setting to celebrate the company’s achievement and the people who helped make it possible. RESNET staff member Scott Doyle, who previously worked at EnergyLogic, had the honor of presenting the award to company CEO Steve Byers and Steve Eagleburger, who stepped into Scott’s former position when Scott left to join RESNET. For Scott, the presentation was an opportunity to celebrate a company and colleagues who were part of his own professional journey. “I was proud to present the 100k ratings award to EnergyLogic. As a former employee, and one of the original ten when the company launched over twenty years ago, it was truly a full circle moment. One hundred thousand ratings is an incredible achievement—especially considering the company’s humble beginnings,” said Scott. The full-circle theme also extends to Steve Byers’ leadership in the industry. Having previously served on the RESNET Board of Directors, Steve is once again serving on the Board, bringing his experience and perspective to the organization as EnergyLogic celebrates this accomplishment. Reaching 100,000 HERS rated homes reflects the collective effort of the people behind the ratings—from field inspections and energy modeling to quality assurance and administrative support. It also represents years of working with builders to evaluate home energy performance and provide homeowners with independently verified information. “EnergyLogic is proud to have passed a new milestone. We recently learned from RESNET that we’ve done more than 100,000 HERS ratings. At our annual event, RaterFest! we were presented with this recognition by Scott Doyle of RESNET. This was fittingly sweet for us as Scott is a former “Logician”! It was a very “full circle” moment. As I accepted the award with Steve Eagleburger (trained by Scott), I was proud to recognize all the people past and present who are a part of the EnergyLogic team. Milestones come and go, that is the nature of them, to dwindle in the rear-view mirror. It’s nice to dwell a moment on this one though. The presentation at RaterFest brought together past colleagues, continuing leadership, and a shared commitment to the future of home energy performance. It was a fitting way to recognize both how far EnergyLogic has come and the relationships that remain part of its story.
