Oklahoma’s Home Creations is the January 2022 RESNET HERS® Index Builder of the Month. Since 1981, Home Creations has served the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas, and the city of Chickasha. Home Creations Chief Operations Officer MJ Farzaneh says they build 650 to 700 homes per year, all of which are HERS® rated. When asked why, he replied, “We have our homes rated because we want our homebuyers to know that our homes are energy-efficient, which saves them money on energy bills. The rating also helps customers understand the importance of energy efficiency and what is truly behind the walls of our homes.” He adds, “We care about the planet and want to help reduce the carbon footprint that gets left behind. Also, the weather in Oklahoma changes all the time, and with extremely hot temperatures in the summer and record-breaking lows during the winter, consumers should expect to have a well-built home that will save them on their electric bill.” Read more of the profile here.
