RESNET is proposing the following amendments to Chapter Nine of the Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating System Standards: Section 904.4.2.4 – Quality assurance reviews of providers by RESNET staff in 2013 found that only requiring the Quality Assurance Designee only have to conduct field reviews on raters is too long. Too many providers find themselves in trouble when they wait until the end of the year to conduct their reviews. This should be on a quarterly basis. Section 904.4.2.9 – Provides more clarification to meet the intent of the section. Section 904.5.2.2 – Clarifies that the Quality Assurance Designee must immediately inform RESNET in a case where a significant non-compliance by a Provider occurs. This will ensure that the issue is addressed as soon as possible. Section 9220.127.116.11 – This provides needed clarification that there shall be no extensions granted for administrative probation Section 918.104.22.168.7 – Clarifies the section only applies to minor issue Section 922.214.171.124.6 – Adds the failure to complete required field or file QA for a cause for Disciplinary Compliance Probation The proposed amendment is undergoing the RESNET non-ANSI standard amendment public review and comment process. Interested parties are encouraged to comment on the proposed amendment. Public comments on the proposed amendment will be accepted until Friday, June 13, 2014.
