RESNET’s Quarterly Quality Assurance (QA) Oversight of HERS® Providers helps protect the integrity of the HERS Rating ecosystem and supports efficient and timely quality assurance reviews. This new oversight’s intent is to: Help Providers stay on track for both File and Field QA obligations throughout the QA Evaluation Period Spread QA reviews across the year Ensure that QA reviews are performed on representative Ratings from each quarter Allow QA findings to be discovered earlier in the year so that process improvements can be implemented before errors are compounded What Obligation Is Required? The first implementation of this quarterly oversight is due June 30, 2026, for the 26Q1 period, as provided in these Standards: File QA: 904.3.2.6 Field QA: 904.3.3.2.7 The Basis count comes from the total number of Registered Ratings for a Provider in the given quarter. The Completed count comes from the total number of QA Reviews submitted through either the RESNET QA® App or an approved API with a Date Reviewed field applied to the given quarter. Starting in 2026, all QA Reviews must be submitted through one of those two methods, and the legacy QA Checklist spreadsheets are no longer accepted. Findings and reports on 26Q1 compliance will go out on July 7, 2026. Accessing Your Dashboard These QA obligations are found in the “QA Counts: Provider” dashboard in Kibana.
