by John Hensley, RESNET Board of Directors President After serving as RESNET’s Executive Director for three decades Steve Baden will be retiring on December 31, 2025. Steve Baden was a founder of RESNET and was hired in 1995 as its first Executive Director. This is to announce that RESNET Board of Directors is launching a national search for a successor. RESNET is seeking qualified candidates for the position. RESNET will be contracting with a professional executive search contractor to assist in recruiting qualified candidates for the position. An announcement on this and application process will be released soon. The goal is to have the new Executive Director in place by October 2025. I want to express my appreciation for Steve’s work at RESNET. It has resulted in the saving of money for families who purchased HERS® rated homes while reducing climate-warming emissions. Thanks to Steve’s leadership, RESNET is known for its rock-solid, standards and has built amazing collaborations with a set of diverse stakeholders. He will leave us in a very strong place, ready to grow the organization and its impact even further.
