The RESNET QA® app is now fully deployed and used by Providers and Quality Assurance Designees across the country. This allows the RESNET® program to operate in a centralized, real-time system. Instead of spreadsheets and year-end reporting, quality assurance (QA) now occurs within a single platform built directly into the RESNET Buildings Registry. RESNET’s QA of Providers is no longer a retrospective audit. It is active oversight. This RESNET QA App technology: • Provides continuous oversight rather than periodic review • Delivers objective analytics instead of anecdotal compliance • Enables early issue correction and coordination • Ensures consistent verification across all markets The QA App modernizes the HERS® Program by strengthening accuracy, transparency, and confidence in HERS ratings nationwide. Adoption data demonstrates how quickly the industry has embraced this enhancement, well in advance of the January 1 Mandatory Compliance Date (MCD): • In 2025, QA Reviews completed through the RESNET QA App increased more than fourfold compared to 2024. • By Q42025, over 80% of RESNET-accredited Rating Providers voluntarily used the RESNET QA App and/or its API, before the January 1, 2026 MCD. • More than 16,000 QA Reviews have been submitted through the RESNET QA API. RESNET has moved quality assurance from a written requirement to a verifiable, real-time system—strengthening transparency, consistency, and long-term confidence in the HERS Program.
