Information for IECC code officials When an Energy Rating Index (ERI) is used to show IECC compliance under Section R406, the ERI “shall be determined in accordance with ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301,” which requires an approved software rating tool. Confirm the software named in the permit documents appears in the registry above, then open its page to check that the version used is accredited.
