The American Chemistry Council Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) is the newest member of the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Suppliers Advisory Board (SAB).

The Spray Foam Coalition (SFC) champions the use of spray polyurethane foam in North America by promoting its energy efficiency, performance, economic benefits, and contributions to sustainability. The SFC provides a forum to conduct research, to advocate for science-based public policy, excellence in safety, stewardship, training, and to advance technical knowledge.

“A number of spray foam manufacturers have been active in RESNET for many years. In joining the Suppliers Advisory Board of RESNET, the Spray Foam Coalition looks forward to providing RESNET raters access to spray foam industry resources including technical information, recognized health and safety training, and code compliance guidance to help improve America’s housing in the years ahead. We are excited and we look forward to working with you”, says Paul Duffy of the  American Chemistry Council Spray Foam Coalition (SFC).

The purpose of the RESNET Suppliers Advisory Board is to provide an opportunity for suppliers to better understand RESNET, network, and provide supplier input to the RESNET Board of Directors. SAB benefits included the opportunity to guest on the RESNET podcast, RESTalk, downloaded by hundreds of industry professionals each month.

RESNET SAB members also receive marketing and sales support with free product marketing email distribution, and RESNET-hosted educational webinars to reach more than 8,000 home energy rating and building performance professionals.

In addition to a representative seat on the RESNET Board of Directors, SAB members receive an annual Statistical Abstract on Trends in HERS Rated Homes.

Currently, there are 16 members of the RESNET Suppliers Advisory Board. To see a listing of members and learn more, visit https://www.resnet.us/about/sab/
