Phius is the leading certifier of passive house projects, and as passive building becomes increasingly mainstream, our organization needs to expand in order to stay ahead. As our new slogan says — Emissions Down, Scale Up! We want you to scale up with us by applying for one of two job openings we are currentlyl looking to fill. They are Quality Assurance Associate and Certification Team Member. Both are critical to the Phius mission, as we work to continue the influx of Phius-certified projects throughout the world. Quality Assurance Associate Full- or part-time, entry level position based in Chicago (remote work possible) Training opportunities provided both through course work and on-the-job mentoring Strong interest in high-performance building construction, building science, residential energy standards and energy efficient technologies required. Certification Team Member Full-time position based in Chicago (remote work possible) Reports to Certification Manager, but expected to work independently Will be expected to handle varied workload including: reviewing variety of Phius projects, certification protocol development, and developing training materials.
