BSR/RESNET Standard 301-2013 Released for Second Round of Public Review and Comment

Apr 8, 2013

RESNET has developed BSR/RESNET Standard 301-2013 “Standard for the Calculation and Labeling of the Energy Performance of Low-Rise Residential Buildings using the HERS® Index”.  The draft standard was submitted to the RESNET ANSI consensus public and review comment process in 2012.

Due to the large number of public comments received on Preliminary Draft Standard BSR/RESNET 301-201x, ninety-eight of which were accepted, RESNET is opening a 45 day public review and comment period on the substantive changes resulting from public comments.  This public review and comment period will close on May 27, 2013.

RESNET will accept comments only on those substantive changes made as a result of the acceptance of public comments. The substantive changes are provided in BSR/RESNET 301-2013 FDSMU, which is a “redline” version of the Final Draft Standard showing additions in underlined font and deletions in strikeout font.

Comments must be limited to provisions that were changed. Comment must be submitted electronically by the closing date of the review and comment period.
