On November 13, 2019, RESNET recognized the accredited Rating Provider Energy Efficient Homes Midwest for the achievement of conducting HERS® ratings on over 100,000 homes.

By reaching this achievement Energy Efficient Homes Midwest has been initiated into the new RESNET “100,000 Homes Club”.  The new club recognizes Rating Providers and HERS® Rating companies that have had over 100,000 homes HERS® rated.

RESNET Executive Director Steve Baden commented, “Energy Efficient Homes Midwest richly deserves this recognition. Having HERS® rated over 100,00 homes is a notable achievement and represents dedication, commitment, and hard work. It reflects on the growing demand of HERS® ratings.”

Mark Jansen of Energy Efficient Homes Midwest commented on the recognition, “This is a tremendous honor and truly a reflection of the hard work and dedication from the Raters in our Providership over the years.  We could not have been as successful without the efforts from the over 60 Raters that worked diligently throughout the years to provide Rating Services to small and large builders alike in our market area.  We are always looking to partner with such organizations as they grow their businesses and the HERS® brand.  It has been my distinct pleasure to work in such an important field, and I look forward to many more companies earning this award.”

Energy Efficient Homes Midwest is based in Indianapolis, Indiana and has certified HERS® Raters in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.  The company and its earlier incarnations, has processed energy ratings on more than 100,000 homes and has trained over 400 prospective HERS® Raters. The company works with homebuyers, builders, and building contractors to promote the best building practices when it comes to cost-effectively building a longer-lasting more efficient home.  Energy Efficient Homes of Indiana was one of the first HERS® Providers accredited by RESNET.

RESNET will soon initiate two more companies into the 100,000 Homes Club. Be watching for the announcement.
