On this first day of Women In Construction Week™, RESNET would like to recognize just a few women who make a difference in RESNET and the industry.

Women in Construction Week™ or WIC Week™ celebrates and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. This year’s theme, ‘Keys to the Future’, celebrates the strength and knowledge of women and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the construction industry.

In 2023, RESNET announced its inaugural class of RESNET Recognition of Women Pioneers in the HERS® Industry. Women have played a critical role in the growth and success of RESNET® and the HERS® industry and RESNET aims to recognize and celebrate those female trailblazers and inspire future leaders.

During the 2023 RESNET Conference in San Diego, RESNET hosted a RESNET Women Pioneers Reception. During the reception, RESNET Deputy Director Cardice Howard thanked the recipients for their contributions to the industry, and each member was given a commemorative bottle of wine and a specially engraved wine glass.

Thank you to all of the women working hard every day in the construction and home performance industries!
