RESNET has received the sad news that HERS® industry champion Megan Edmunds passed away after a gallant fight with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Megan served as the director of the early Colorado HERS® Rating Provider, E-Star Colorado. Megan also served on the first RESNET Board of Directors. Her term on the RESNET Board lasted from 2002 through 2006. Prior to serving on the RESNET Board, Ms. Edmunds served on the board of Energy Rated Homes of America. Megan Edmunds was born in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1959. She worked for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority prior to leading E-Star Colorado. In 2006, Ms. Edmunds left the HERS® Industry to pursue freelancing, personal projects, and travel. Her pursuits included living in Doha for nearly two years working on a construction project for Qatar Railways.
