Lauren Westmoreland Appointed to RESNET Standard Development Committee 900

Lauren Westmoreland has been appointed by the RESNET Standards Management Board to serve on the RESNET Standards Development Committee 900 – Quality Assurance.

Ms. Westmoreland serves as the Green Communities Policy Program Director at Enterprise Community Partners of Atlanta, Georgia. In her role at the Enterprise Community Partners, Lauren is responsible for developing and advancing a policy agenda to increase the adoption of green building practices in the affordable housing sector.  The Enterprise Community Partners’ mission is to create opportunity for low- and moderate-income people through affordable housing in diverse, thriving communities.

Prior to her work at Enterprise Community Partners Lauren served as the Energy Codes Manager and Director of Built Environment of the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) and as Building Science Consultant at Advanced Energy.  She received a Master of Architecture Degree at North Carolina State University.

The Standard Development Committee 900 is responsible to oversee RESNET’s quality assurance and sampling technical standards and amending the standards. For more information go to SDC 900
