RESNET is now using many different communications channels to engage with stakeholders to help achieve the goal that RESNET has for the year 2020: that 50% of all new homes be energy rated.

In latest episode of RESTalk, host Bill Spohn welcomes Valerie Briggs, Communications Director for RESNET to discuss RESNET’s communication channels.
This boost in communications activities is funded in part by the increase in rating fees, hence RESNET has really committed to reinvesting in growing the market for ratings.
You’ll hear about the emails, newsletters, videos, as well as learning the anatomy of an infographic!
All new channels are being explored including “earned” media and live events; of which three live events were held in the last year in conjunction with KB Home.
These many faceted efforts also serve to engage the next generation of RESNET raters and leaders. Val also discusses her career background and how it leads to her role at RESNET.
