The Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association (PIMA) is the newest member of the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Suppliers Advisory Board (SAB). Since 1987, the Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association (PIMA) has served as the voice of the rigid polyiso industry and a proactive advocate for safe, cost-effective, sustainable, and energy-efficient construction. The association strives to promote the polyiso industry through advocacy, education, research, and leadership. “PIMA’s decision to join the Suppliers Advisory Board of RESNET reflects the growing momentum for energy-efficient home construction and highlights the key role that continuous insulation solutions like polyiso play in delivering higher levels of performance for homeowners,” Justin Koscher, President of PIMA said. “RESNET is a recognized authority in the residential construction industry and PIMA is eager to partner with, and learn from, other RESNET members as we work toward our shared goal of zero energy homes.” The purpose of the RESNET Suppliers Advisory Board is to provide an opportunity for suppliers to better understand RESNET, network, and provide supplier input to the RESNET Board of Directors. SAB benefits included the opportunity to guest on the RESNET podcast, RESTalk, downloaded by hundreds of industry professionals each month. RESNET SAB members also receive marketing and sales support with free product marketing email distribution, and RESNET-hosted educational webinars to reach more than 8,000 home energy rating and building performance professionals. In addition to a representative seat on the RESNET Board of Directors, SAB members receive an annual Statistical Abstract on Trends in HERS Rated Homes.
