Addendum 61f, COVID Exception for Onsite Airtightness Tests

Addendum 61f is the proposed final version of interim Addendum 61i that currently authorizes use of default values for airtightness in lieu of values determined by onsite tests during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The exception applies only to ratings for the RESNET HERS® and may not comply with other programs’ requirements. The exception will automatically end based on when the federal emergency declaration expires.

Addendum 64f, Multi-Family Dwelling Unit Sampling

Addendum 64f is the proposed final version of interim Addendum 64i that currently authorizes use of the RESNET Guidelines for Multifamily Energy Ratings inspections and tests sampling criteria for determining Sampled Ratings for Dwelling Units in multifamily buildings. Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2019 preempts use of all other Guidelines for Multifamily Energy Ratings criteria. The Addendum also extends the current exception to airtightness testing for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands until January 1, 2024.
