QA, Training, and Software Providers Accredited by RESNET® in 2025

Nov 14, 2025 General

The following Quality Assurance Providers, Training Providers, and Software Providers were accredited by RESNET in 2025:

Quality Assurance Providers:

• 3E LLC, Las Vegas, NV
• NRG Calcs LLC, Awendaw, SC
• Arcxis West Coast, San Diego, CA

Quality Assurance Providers are organizations that RESNET delegates the authority for implementation of the HERS® Index Score and the HERS Carbon Index® rating for homes. This includes overseeing the professional certification of individuals and performing ongoing quality assurance oversight of the homes they rate.

Accredited Rating Quality Assurance Providers are responsible for ensuring the quality of rating services and administering HERS rating programs. These responsibilities include:
• Certification of Raters, Rating Field Inspectors (RFIs), and Modelers
• Quality Assurance of ratings
• Marketing of rating services

RESNET performs quality assurance oversight on all the Providers to ensure they demonstrate strict compliance with RESNET’s quality assurance program requirements.

Accredited Rater Training Providers:

• Quality Training, Precision Inspections (QTPi), Highland Heights, KY

Accredited Rater Training Providers provide the training that rater candidates are required to complete to become certified by an accredited rating provider. The responsibilities and requirements to be an accredited rater training provider are defined in Chapter One of the HERS Standards.

RESNET Accredited Software Providers:

• APEX, Gilbert, AZ (HERS and HERS Carbon Index)
• Ekotrope, Boston, MA (HERSH2O®)

Accredited rating software tools provide the calculations necessary to produce a HERS and HERS Carbon Index score and/or a HERSH2O Index score.

The number of newly accredited Providers reflects that the demand for HERS ratings continues to grow for verification of energy codes, metrics for corporate sustainability reporting, and HERS-rated homes in the Build-to-Rent market. Additionally, appraisers use the HERS Index in appraisals, and real estate agents use it in real estate listings.
