RESNET Board of Directors Appoints New Chairmen of the RESNET Accreditation and Ethics and Appeals Standing Committees

The RESNET Board of Directors has appointed Abe Kruger as the Chairman of the RESNET Accreditation Standing Committee and Chris McTaggart as the Chairman of the RESNET Ethics and Appeals Standing Committee.

The RESNET Accreditation Standing Committee is responsible for the oversight of RESNET’s accreditation application review process and accreditation procedures. Members of the Committee are posted at RESNET Accreditation Committee Members

Atlanta, Georgia-based Abe Kruger serves as a HERS® Company representative on the RESNET Board of Directors.  Abe is cofounder of SK Collaborative, a HERS® Rating Company which provides consulting, design reviews and charrettes, training, and building certification.

The RESNET Ethics and Appeals Committee is responsible for the review and determination of quality assurance appeals and ethics violations. Members of the Committee are posted at RESNET Ethics and Appeals Committee Members

Detroit, Michigan-based Chris McTaggart serves as a Provider representative on the RESNET Board of Directors.  Chris is an Owner of the Building Efficiency Resources (BER), a national third-party HERS® Rating Quality Assurance Provider.

RESNET’s policies require that Standing Committee chairmen must be elected by the RESNET Board of Directors and be members of the RESNET Board.
