Addendum 6, Section 903.3 of the RESNET standards addresses a provider’s ability to challenge the findings of a RESNET staff quality assurance review. The section provides: “An accredited QA Provider has the right to challenge the findings of a RESNET Quality Assurance reviewer for cause by submitting, in writing to the RESNET Executive Director, the details of their challenge.” The standard does not set the procedures and timelines for such a challenge. To clarify this situation the RESNET Board of Directors adopted a formal standard interpretation. The interpretation states that the provisions of Addendum 4 Section 913 will apply to RESNET quality assurance review findings.
