Review Draft PUBLIC COMMENT: Draft PDS-02 RESNET/ICC 1450-202x, Remote Virtual Inspections Proposed standard RESNET/ICC 1450-202x provides criteria for implementing Remote Virtual Inspections (RVI) in the evaluation of energy code compliance and in the evaluation and rating of the water-use and energy efficiency performance of buildings. The standardized RVI criteria will be used by code officials and their designee(s) and by home performance inspectors and raters when evaluating all aspects of construction for building energy and water conservation programs, laws, and regulations. The first draft of the standard was submitted for public review and comment and this second draft has been modified in response to accepted proposed changes to draft PDS-01. The changes to the first draft are open for comment. The draft standard, comment form, and comments received are posted at Draft PDS-02 RESNET/ICC 1450-202x Remote Virtual Inspections. Public comments will be accepted from May 9, 2025, through June 8, 2025.
