The RESNET Standards Development Committee 300 authorized the release of a proposed standard amendment that clarifies the treatment of attics and crawlspaces during testing and clarifies the calculation of essential parameters related to attics and crawlspaces(PDS-01 BSR RESNET/ICC 380-2016 Addendum A201x)

The proposed draft amendment is posted at Treatment of Attics and Crawlspaces

The proposed amendment is now undergoing the RESNET ANSI consensus public review and comment process.

Public comments on the proposed amendment will be accepted until January 2, 2017.

The public comment period will be open until January 2, 2017.

After the comment period, the RESNET Standard Development Committee 300 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. The revised proposed amendment will then be submitted to the RESNET Standard Management Board for final approval.
