The Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), a non-profit membership organization, has over two decades of experience setting the standards for quality for the HERS® Rating industry. To date over 2 million homes have been HERS® Rated through RESNET. For more information go to www.resnet.us A key function of RESNET in meeting its goal of ensuring quality of HERS® Ratings is quality assurance oversight of HERS® Rating Providers. To accomplish the goals of enhancing the consistency of HERS® Ratings, RESNET is seeking candidates for a full time Quality Assurance Field Specialist. Ideal candidates will be passionate about energy efficiency and building performance as well as being familiar with the industry. Certification as a RESNET Quality Assurance Designee is required. This is a full-time, home-based position. This position requires a significant amount of overnight travel. The Quality Assurance Field Specialist reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. RESNET will have a team approach to quality assurance so all quality assurance positions will work closely together to accomplish the goals in the annual work plan. Requirements for this new position will include: I. Field Monitoring of RESNET Providers and their QADs/Quality Assurance Contractors II. Field Investigation of Compliance and other Complaints III. Assist Quality Assurance Manager with Formal Training of Quality Assurance Agents IV. Investigate Anomalies and Results Collected Through the Evaluation of Ratings in QA Genie as directed by QA Manager and assist in using QA Genie to inform the activities of RESNET QADs/Quality Assurance Contractors V. Provide Mentoring, Support and Regular Communications to RESNET QADs/Quality Assurance Contractors VI. Provide Field Training to RESNET QADs/Quality Assurance Contractors VII. Technical Support for RESNET Management VIII. Other Duties as Assigned Necessary Skills: Previous experience as a Home Energy Rater and Working knowledge of RESNET Standards RESNET Quality Assurance Designee Excellent verbal and written skills Outstanding Microsoft Office skills Proven ability to plan and execute work plans Creative and critical thinker Proven ability to develop, maintain and leverage critical professional relationships Attention to detail Flexible team player Self-starter Experience and Education Experience with: Previous experience as a Home Energy Rater and RESNET Quality Assurance Designee Training and mentoring Working from home Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired.
