RESNET® Welcomes Board Members Elected in the 2025 Board Election

Dec 23, 2025 BuildersGeneralProvidersRaters

In the 2025 RESNET® Board of Directors Election, Steve Byers, CEO of Rating Provider EnergyLogic, Inc., and Nancy St Hilaire, CEO/CFO of Rating Provider NRG Calcs/Builder i Group, were elected to two-year terms to the RESNET Board of Directors. Both were elected as RESNET Accredited Provider Representatives. William Jenkins, Vice President of Sustainability, Clayton Homes, was elected to a two-year term as the Production Builder Member Representative.

Commenting on his election to the RESNET Board, Mr. Byers said, “I will bring my full energy and the breadth of my experiences to the RESNET Board. My previous time serving gives me excellent institutional knowledge of the organization that I feel is valuable. My education and practical experiences also inform my ability to serve my peers and the community as a whole.I have a passion for our industry, for the good we do, and the people involved. It’s easy to forget that the work we do is so important. We’ve come a long way, and I’d love to be a part of helping us all keep going.”

Mr. Jenkins commented on his election to the RESNET Board, “We are at a pivotal moment for energy efficiency. With voluntary programs under pressure and the 45L tax credit set to sunset, RESNET’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding the industry forward, playing an even more critical role in driving performance standards and consumer awareness. My recent work—supporting the deployment of over 98,000 Zero Energy Ready Homes in just two years—demonstrates my commitment to high-performance building. I am ready to contribute my experience and perspective to help RESNET navigate this transition, expand its impact, and ensure its standards continue to meet the needs of builders, raters, and homeowners.”

Ms. St. Hilaire shared her thoughts on her election, stating, “I think that one of the most difficult aspects of being on the Board is balancing the various interests of the members and stakeholders in our industry. Although I’m running for one of the Providers’ seats on the Board, I can appreciate and understand the perspectives of Raters, builders, code officials, appraisers, utilities, and the various other groups that rely on the integrity and stability that RESNET provides. In order for everyone to succeed and thrive, all of our interests must be considered. I believe that I bring that understanding to the Board.”

RESNET would like to express its gratitude to outgoing member Jonathan Risch, Chief Executive Officer, Arcxis, for his time, expertise, and commitment to serving three terms as a RESNET Accredited Provider Representative.

Please join the RESNET team in welcoming Steve, William, and Nancy to the RESNET Board of Directors and those Board members who were re-elected.
