Mon, Sep 29, 2025 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT Join us as Chris Magwood, Chair of the RESNET Standards Development Committee (SDC) 1500, reviews RESNET’s recent release draft PDS-02 of RESNET 1550, Embodied Carbon, for public review and comment. The standard provides a consistent methodology for the calculation and reporting of the embodied carbon of dwelling and sleeping units. The standard defines the scope for calculating embodied carbon and a methodology for conducting the calculations that uses the same modeling data and processes and reporting employed by standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301. This second draft of the standard has been revised in response to public comment on the first draft, PDS-01. Comments will be accepted on the changes to draft PDS-01 as shown in draft PDS-02 in red print. Public comments will be accepted from September 3, 2025, through October 3, 2025.
