As seen during the RESNET 2022 Virtual Conference, RESNET released a new video in the HERSH2O series, “RESNET HERS® Raters – Help Lower Water Bills for Homes with HERSH2O!” The video begins by noting that the average family spends $1,000 annually on water costs, while water bills continue to rise at 3x the amount of average inflation. Certified RESNET HERS® Raters can be a part of the solution by becoming HERSH2O Raters and WaterSense Home Verifiers. All active certified RESNET Home Energy Raters and Rating Field Inspectors are eligible to conduct HERSH2O ratings after completing the online HERSH2O Rater Training. Becoming a WaterSense Home Verifier requires completion of the HERSH2O Rater Training and viewing the WaterSense Version 2 video on the RESNET training portal.
