The RESNET Standards Development Committee 300 authorized the release of a proposed standard amendment that clarifies the treatment of attics and crawlspaces during testing and clarifies the calculation of essential parameters related to attics and crawlspaces(PDS-01 BSR RESNET/ICC 380-2016 Addendum A201x). Public comments on the first draft resulted in changes to draft PDS-01 and those changes are now being submitted for public review and comment. The changes to the first draft PDS-01 are posted at Treatment of Attics and Crawlspaces The public comments on the changes to the proposed amendment will be accepted until May 14, 2017. After the comment period, the RESNET Standard Development Committee 300 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. The revised proposed amendment will then be submitted to the RESNET Standard Management Board for final approval.
