RESNET is Accepting Comments on Proposed Standard Amendment on Incorporating Reference to ANSI/RESNET/ICC Standard 380 into the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards

Aug 25, 2016

RESNET developed Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 380-2016 to incorporate all requirements for testing airtightness of building enclosures, airtightness of heating and cooling air distribution systems, and airflow of mechanical ventilation systems required for energy ratings of residential buildings in an American National Standard (ANS). The intent is that ANSI/RESNET/ICC Standard 380 will be referenced by the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards for testing similar to the way Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2014 is now referenced for energy ratings.  RESNET is accepting public comments on the referencing of Standard 380-2016 in MINHERS® RESNET.

RESNET is accepting public comments on the proposed amendment to the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards indicated by strike/underline in the document.

The public comment period will close September 26, 2016.

The proposed amended language is posted at Proposed Amendment on ANSI/RESNET/ICC Standard 380
